Make the popup widget CSS elastic

EROSKI CONSUMER 8 years ago in Widgets • updated by Sergey Stukov (co-founder) 8 years ago 7
The popup widget is fixed to display correctly only at 440 pixels wide. I need to shrink it to 220 pixels, but the CSS you use inside the widget is fixed -not elastic-.

For example, if you load http://eroskiconsumer.userecho.com/widgets/popin_extended/6547/ and shrink the browser window to 220 pixels, the messages disappear because of their float:left and fixed width property. I suggest adding percentages to those elements sizes, so the design becomes elastic and usable at any width.

We started investigating issue.

1-st Variant that popup will switch to customized CSS when length of the screen will be lower than 440px

Seems that it not easy process, because widget supports functionality for search and leave feedback within it.

But anyway we try and report about progress soon.
Please look this is first version with 220px support.
We will try to make it elastic from 220px to 440px.
Is it fit your requirements?

Hello Sergey!
Thanks for doing such an excellent work, now the widget fits nearly perfect in the 220px size. However, as I use the widget in Spanish, some of the text strings are larger than in English and they get out of their boundaries. I have uploaded two images to show you up the problem:

Although, you work is really excellent! But if you could fix these small issues, it would be really perfect!

Thanks in advance!
Fixes applied, please look for another iteration
