Change buttons text style to non serif on buttons

Martin Reisbeck 7 years ago • updated by Sergey Stukov (co-founder) 7 years ago 7

All buttons are labeled in Times New Roman or similar. This is a font with “serifs”. And all the other text is in a font without serifs, like Arial, Verdana or Tahoma. Please “unserify” the labels of the buttons and your software would look much more better…

Please provide us with screenshot of buttons and which browser type you use.

Which type of browser you use?

Below how it looks on my computer on Chrome,FF and Safari

All those Buttons are with serifes. Make it in a font without serifes, is just a question of good design. But it's not that important.

Oh I see! The user can skrew up the design by browser settings.

In my case it's Mozilla FF 3.6.18

So, I will have a look to the settings. Maybe you can lookup where to lock the design...

Here screenshot using FF 3.6.19 with default settings.

We found option in FF settings, if it unchecked FF uses user defined fonts instead webpage's fonts.

Thank's a lot Sergey. That means, my question was not very helpful because every browser is able to fiddle around in your design.

Hi Sergey.

You shouldn’t close the case such fast, because…

Have a look at the attached pic.

There is the check in the right place.

Sorry it is in german. But you will know, what I mean.
