How can a user give more weight to votes?

We have small customers and big customers.  Big customers get more votes.  Bigger customers will want to be able to cast more votes on an issue.  I'm looking where I can set the maximum number of votes somebody can cast on an item.  I would for example allow 1, 2, 3.  That way users can indicate what they think is a nice to have and what is a must have for them.

You can setup limit from the forum settings for all users.
Also you have a group option (in beta). So you are able to do it from the group settings for group's users too (if you want to separate it by groups).

Could you let me know the result of the discussion?  We have about 130 issues at the moment.  We were planning on giving each client 3 votes per site and per software product they own.
We have a client that has 4 products of ours, and has 17 sites.  Another one with even more sites.  This means he will receive 4 * 17 * 3 votes.  But he can't do anything with those extra votes now.  He can vote on every issue which mean we don't get any feedback to what is really important.
We have a discussion, and decide to add ability to set personal vote limit for each user, also we add ability that user will able to vote (with 1,2,3...) votes to a topic. Seems that features will be suitable for your case. We plan to release this features with our next system release that planned to the end of the March.

Ouch, that's really bad news for me.  In comparing UserEcho to UserVoice I checked a lot of points but not that one.  I find it very strange that no other user has requested this since it's not only useful for people with larger clients it also gives users a possibility to indicate what they like and what they need.

No because that way every vote that a user casts will have a big weight.  The user should be able to decide himself where he want to give a big vote on and where a small vote.  A lot of other user voting systems have this functionality I assumed this was also possible in UserEcho?
Unfortunatelly, we have no this function. You are the first who need it. We will duscuss and decide what can we do.
