Display additional user specific information in the main panel

Annette 5 years ago in Usability & Interface • updated by Sergey Stukov (co-founder) 5 years ago 10

We'd like to have user specific statistics displayed at the top of main panel; a little like the topic stats  but just for one user. A little like the My activity listing in the narrow right hand panel.

Is that possible?

Can I display each stage as a different stat (or count)? And each be hyperlinked to the actual topics?

Can I move modules from the main panel to the narrow panel and visa versa?

New module released.

We've added new filter to the topic list. That's display all available topic statuses and counts of topics by current user.

It's can be enabled via topic list setup in customisation section.

1) We able to create user module for the main part (left side of the dashboard)

Can you provide which information about user should be displayed in this module?

2) It's possible to enable following header filters for each of group

Is it suitable for you?

Sergey,

Thanks for the quick reply - just need to check with the team on exact requirements. Back to you soon.

Annette

Sergey,

Yes, please create the user module for the right hand side. Please see the InterAct forum Dashboard, the Topic lists under the search bar we'd like the count for each status across the top of the page rather than down the page. So a little like:

Idea  2                More  4                Being  2

Submitted           Info needed          Considered

And then clicking on one bring up the topic list for that status.

I mean for the left hand side :)

An example of what it might look like once we add custom CSS

We started implementation of such module.

Sergey - can you give me a status update for this please?

We are on the final stage of implementation now. Here the screenshot from the our dev server.

We hope that we release module by this week.

Hi Sergey,

Thanks, that's great news. When you say it's a module does that mean we can turn it on or off as we choose? The team is in UAT for the next week or so and wanted to implement this as Day 2 functionality once the UserForum forum is launched and settled in. If it's not something we can control then please do not promote to our environment just yet. Thanks

Annette
