On uservoice, by limiting the user to ten votes, we can get the user to really think about priorities.

This would be a selling point in itself for me.
We plan to implement this feature soon
I actually didn't like UserVoice (we thought about using them, but the fact that they limit conversations (votes) to 10, was a no go for us) I guess UserVoice is meant strictly for features and bug fix requests...

We was looking for a more... community/conversation type solution (We want to engage with our users, and have them engage with us as much as possible) So we thought having a limit to this would not be a good idea.

However if your aim is to use UserEcho as strictly a Feature/BugFix request, I can see the benefit in that... having quality feedback vs quantity... however I notice that even I was reluctant to post because it "Costed" something...

Also users don't get their currency back till you "Close" the case, and I assume that no other users can comment after a case is closed? Further limiting the conversation...
It's will be optional and admins be able to set limit in the settings, will be disabled by default
Are you saying each user can only vote on 1 idea? That can't be right... but above you say "One feedback, one vote at this moment"... I'm confused.

Users may vote on unlimited number of ideas, but only 1 vote for each.
It's not possible to give 5 votes for one idea.

Thanks. Is there a way to set a limit for votes?
No, just 1 vote for each feedback, and ability to vote on all.
This is critical for you? To have this feature ?
Well I don't know if I need it yet. I haven't launched our feedback forum yet... But it seems like a good idea to have a limit. Like the other guy said, limiting votes makes users think about priorities.

Is this a feature you plan on adding, at least as an optional setting?
Optional yes, but at this moment we working on most exciting and requested features such as
  1.   Easy way to create polls.
  2.   Private messages to users.
Vote for this feature to increase it priority.
Also feel free to ask questions regarding setup or customization of your community.

Hello Sergey, could you tell us what happens when a user has exhausted the limit ? Can he recover more voting rights somehow ? Can we edit this in the admin section, user per user ? thanks !

User will not be able to vote when limit of votes reached. UserEcho will free votes when idea will be closed. So user will able vote for the new ideas.

You can create user groups and set vote limit per group then you can assign users to the groups.
