We have added Hipchat integration to the UserEcho features, find out detailed info about setup it by the link below.

We are open for suggestions how to improve our Hipchat integration.

No at this moment, but we can create adaptor(module) that can be able to post notifications, for example (new feedback notification) directly to the specified hipchat room. If you plan to use our paid service plan we can increase priority of this task and create adaptor to your use case.

We could really use that feature on Scrapinghub!
Hi Sergey,

Breno from Scrapinghub here. We've been voting today on this feature as we could really benefit from it. I should mention that we're paying customers so perhaps, as you said, we can increase priority for this task :)
Also paying customer.  +1
I agree. Hipchat would be nice.

Thanks Sergey. I just tried configuring it (scrapinghub.userecho.com) but it doesn't work. When I click the button "Check integration" it says "FAILED".
Seems that you use old V1.0 API Hipchat token,
You can get API v2.0 Token from here
https://www.hipchat.com/account/api
It works if I get a personal token from there, but I would like to use a room token instead (also within API v2.0) so that the messages don't appear as generated from me personally. Here are more details about the different type of tokens supported: https://www.hipchat.com/docs/apiv2/auth
We have added support for Room tokens, you can get it from you Room settings.

Select:
Room->Your room name->Tokens and create token for it.
Thanks, it's working now.
Small suggestion: use "UserEcho" as the sender name instead of "userecho notifications", otherwise the whole name may not render properly. See this snapshot (taken from my hipchat app) for an example:

When you creating Room token, label it as you want. API will use this label as poster name.

Awesome. It works nicely. I am concerned though that if volume of feedback gets up there are no filtering options.
